Our fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. It’s time for us to report to our contributors and other interested parties how we’ve helped animals, people, and environments in our mission to prevent the spread of diseases between animals and people.
As President & CEO of a new non-profit looking for innovative ways to meet our mission using the One Health concept, I am thrilled to tell you all of the exciting things we’ve done this past year. There are four main areas that we worked on to help prevent the spread of diseases between animals and people.
- Veterinary care of dogs and cats owned by people in need
- Outreach
- Education
- Research
We were careful in how we spent the funds trusted to us. The vast majority went to cover the costs associated with programs, but we did need to use some funds to help us raise money and manage the day-to-day operations.
